How do we do it?
Bespoke database development has never been cheap and many organisations are left with two choices:
- Make a substantial investment in bespoke development and get a bespoke database that meets their requirements but often budget restrictions mean compromises have to be made or progress comes piecemeal as and when budget allows.
- Purchase off the shelf software or services that look very attractive and competitive on the surface but often prove to be less functional and flexible than initially expected or require a lot of customisation to meet your requirements which adds unexpected costs.
Our solution to this problem has been to build our own code library. After working on hundreds of bespoke database projects we noticed that many businesses have very similar requirements and many contributed their ideas about how business processes could be improved.
This led us to the idea that our bespoke code could be reused albeit with some modification on many new projects. This meant that customers could get a bespoke database for a fraction of a price they would otherwise pay to have one developed from scratch, giving them access to cutting edge, technology driven solutions without the need to make a huge investment.
